The Klamath Jet Boat Tours depart from and return to the Highway 101 dock three and a half miles from Kamp Klamath. Plenty of free pull-through parking is available for RVers.

Each tour begins at the estuary where the Klamath River meets the Pacific Ocean, named "Rekwoi" (modernized to "Requa") by the local Yurok Indians. Your Captain powers up both twin jets as you settle back and begin to enjoy nature at her untouched best.

Your Captain is both a capable seaman and an experienced naturalist and will point out and explain the geologic wonders and rich historical sights along the Klamath River canyon, in an endless parade of tree types and a myriad variety of wildlife. Sightings often include black bears, elk, blacktail deer, otters, mink, ospreys, eagles [bald and golden], hawks, steelhead, chinook and coho salmon.
Cameras are a "must bring" item to capture the spectacular vistas and wildlife scenes along the way.

The remote Rivers West Lodge is 20 miles upriver from Klamath.
